What is the shelf life of kombucha?
For best flavor, we recommend 3 months stored in the refrigerator.
However, because of the acidity and the presence of beneficial bacteria and yeast, harmful bacteria and mold won’t grow in kombucha. This makes it safe to consume for up to 6 months.
Nonetheless, due to the natural fermentation do expect your kombucha to become more tart over time.

Our kombucha is naturally low in sugar. We measure each small-batch of kombucha using special equipment in-house. Our blueberry & lychee kombucha measures at 5.8°Brix. While Brix only measures the sucrose levels present in liquid, it gives us a fairly accurate reading to measure the sugar.
To compare, a glass of freshly squeezed mango juice is 19°Brix and orange juice 13°Brix.
